What EU Trace Is (and Isn't)
EU Trace is not a replacement for your ERP or accounting system. It's a compliance API layer that sits alongside your existing infrastructure. You send us invoice data as JSON, and we handle validation against EN 16931, XRechnung, and ZUGFeRD — returning pass/fail results with detailed error messages, storing audit-proof SHA-256 chains, and optionally generating ZUGFeRD PDF/A-3 documents. It's a companion tool, not a competitor, designed to work seamlessly with SAP, your existing stack, and your clients' systems.

Our Story
EU Trace was founded by Mujadid Naeem, who saw firsthand how system integrators struggled with e-invoicing compliance. Every project meant rebuilding validation logic. Every regulatory update meant emergency patches. The idea was simple: build an API that handles compliance once, and let SIs reuse it across all clients. Kairosys GmbH was established in Frankfurt, Germany, and EU Trace was born. Today, we serve enterprise clients across 15+ EU countries, and our open-source SDKs are trusted by system integrators, SAP consultancies, and regulatory auditors.
